SHEENA OSHEA is an Army Veteran, who fell in love with felting after leaving service in 2023.
Sheena graduated from UNC - Pembroke with a Bachelors in the Arts, but focused primarily
on oil painting. She has since been able to apply her knowledge and skills towards needle
felting. In 2025, Sheena O’Shea won Best in Show and the People’s Choice award for her
needle felted rendition of Alice in Wonderland’s, White Rabbit. Mrs O’Shea, currently lives in
Peachland, NC with her Husband, Eamonn O’Shea, and her Daughter, Freya O’Shea.
Decorating Wool Slippers—Beginner to Advanced
There is nothing like a cozy pair of wool slippers on a chilly morning. In this class you will make your own unique pair of slippers by needle felting a colorful wool design on commercially made wool slippers. You will have a chance to enhance your needle felting skills—plus take home something special.
Prerequisite skills: Some prior needle felting experience (know the basics)
Pre-class homework: Respond with Slipper size at least 30 days before the class start date (unless you’re bringing your own)
Students bring: Bring your favorite needle felting tools/holders, only needles will be provided. Students can bring their own wool slippers to decorate - Wool Slipper material fee will be subtracted ($65) from price
